Opening Words
For before me, separated only by a great sheet of glass, was the cosmos itself. A vast abyss, populated by a billion specks of sparkling light. A supernova shining brightly across a thousand horizons. Three suns raining the showers of dusk onto the warm yellow-brown desert world below. Planets, moons and celestial bodies of all shapes, sizes and colours.
The Story
A galaxy under tyranny. A revolution among the stars.
This story takes place in a galaxy far from our own. A galaxy under the tyrannical rule of The Balance, a militant organization devoted to enforcing absolute order in a universe of chaos. They spread like a plague under the command of their mysterious leader, Berevoss, exterminating worlds that refuse to comply.
Using a force none truly understand, called Zerakoor, they rid entire worlds of their ability to host life itself. But in the cracks of empire, kindness and community have formed among the refugees cast out among the stars. A revolution begins to form. One of scattered, determined folk from many worlds and lives, all who have lost greatly.
This is the world in which our hero finds himself.
