ARTIE follows Andrew Bensen, a 27-year-old engineer from Earth who finds himself mysteriously vanished halfway across the universe. He arrives in a galaxy under the tyrannical rule of The Balance, hunted by the unknowable Zerakoor, and pursued by the dread Berevoss himself.
He is caring and well-meaning, but reckless and impulsive. He will help wherever he can, but all he wants is to get home to the woman he loves. Along the way he finds a crew, a cause, and a galaxy worth saving.
This is a story of scattered, determined folk from many worlds and lives, all who have lost greatly. Of pirate kings and lost scientists. Of impossible cities and dead worlds. Of a single shaft of light, calling our hero home.
And then I woke up.
