Vessels & Forbidden Tech

Engines of revolution.

The Fleet

Ships across the dark.

Hero ship · Home of the revolution

The Centennial

Our main ship is a symbol of revolution and adventure, as well as their home. The Centennial contains a unique gift, the Shaker, which allows the ship to phase through solid matter at the push of a button.

When describing the Centennial I would invite you to conjure up images more akin to a luxury cruise liner with jet engines and cannons (each of which being individually the size of a truck).

Frankenstein armada

Calibast's Pirate Fleet

The fleet of pirate king Calibast. Distinctly recognisable for their Frankenstein-like construction, appearing as if piled together from the spare parts of a thousand different ships.

A Frankenstein ship brimming with artillery of all shapes and sizes and strewn together with the corpses of the vessels it had surely stripped to dust in its time.

The crown jewel of empire

Berevoss' Flagship & War-Wasps

The flagship of the Balance fleet, Berevoss' pride and joy, and the swarming armada of Balance fighting craft.

A great oval vessel, so large that as it moved it cast a long, deep shadow over the Crater itself. The Balance flagship.

A drifting raft

Vara's Ship

The humble, barely-working ship Keldeek Vara uses to travel to and from his space station home.

We had placed it carefully in the back of his broken-down little ship. I do not exaggerate in that description by the way, the thing was a piece of junk, if it flew at all it would be miraculous.

Sea on demand

Portable Boats

A clever mode of water transport. The higher quality versions assemble at the very touch of water.

The mere touch of water upon its surface activated the box. It twisted and turned, unfurling onto the waves. Until waiting before us peacefully on the sea was a sleek metallic white sailboat.

Short-haul ore haulers

Caverous' Mining Ships

The small two-man ships used to transport mined revernic ore up from the Caverous Crater to the waiting starships above.

Their engines were external, hanging off the sides beneath slanted wings. Evidently, they were typically short-ranged craft.
The puncturing sound of laser cannon fire seized the air, I looked up to see the most beloved sight as the Centennial tore through the sky, phasing through vessels as if they were air; bombarding them from every direction.

Items & Anomalies

The strange technology of a dark age.

The Atmosphere Bubble

A device used to create a breathable atmosphere, be it on a planet, an asteroid, or in the vacuum of space. It also creates artificial gravity, which can be hazardous if used in space (you could literally fall out).

Buoyancy Fluid

An ingestible liquid that drastically reduces your weight for up to an hour. Sparkly grey. Pretty much does what it says on the box, though I dread to imagine the effect it has on your insides.

Spacesuits

Snug, much less bulky than the spacesuits in the history books. Closer to a leather leotard worn by a motorcyclist, while the helmet was reminiscent of the skull of the iconic Xenomorph.

The Citadel Dome

A fantastical corruption of the Atmosphere Bubble and Buoyancy Fluid, weaponised. Imagine a magnet pulling you through a wall of honey, that also happened to be electrified. You're stuck, and then you're fried before you can even start to do either.

The Rebirth Reactor

Keldeek Vara's miracle machine, used to counter the effects of Zerakoor and restore life to a dead planet. It felt as if I was in the presence of life itself.

The Shaker

The engine in the Centennial that allows the ship and its inhabitants to phase through solid matter. A molecular disruptor that vibrates the molecules of the ship and the molecules in its path at differing synchronous frequencies.

Revernic Ore

The sickly, yellow-green mineral that fuels every ship and device in the galaxy. Widely available but incredibly valuable. Can also be used as a cooking additive or carved into a decorative ornament.

Plasma + Laser Cannons

The primary method of fighting in space. Plasma fire is typically neon blue, while laser is neon pink. An explosive symphony of destruction and violence.

N-Round Dart Revolver

Biehn's iconic handgun. Fires up to 600 tiny thin yellow needles in quick succession. A weapon built to take out a multitude of opponents while causing as little collateral damage as possible.
